Embodied psychotherapy & somatic memories
Trauma, stress, experiential psychotherapy, somatic patterns, memory reprocessing and reconsolidation. An integrated perspective, not a single technique.
FABIO SINIBALDI · PSYCHOLOGIST · PSYCHOTHERAPIST · AUTHOR
I connect psychotherapy, neuroscience, embodied processes and behavioral science to understand how people change—and turn that understanding into practical possibilities for clinicians, educators and organizations.

I am a psychologist, psychotherapist, author and international educator. For over 25 years, my work has explored how thoughts, emotions, memories, physiological responses, movement, relationships and environments interact to shape human experience.
I founded the Association for Integrative Sciences to connect knowledge from different fields and develop practical ways to understand and facilitate human change. Through clinical practice, books and professional education, I help health and change professionals work with complex experiences, and I bring the same perspective to leaders and organizations pursuing well-being, adaptability and sustainable performance.
A central contribution is Somatic Memory Psychotherapy, an integrative clinical framework addressing embodied experience, sensory and motor patterns, and processes of memory reprocessing and reconsolidation.
Alongside this work, I have developed broader models, including the Change Switches and Integrative Functional Patterns, for a multidimensional understanding of psychosomatic processes and of the relationships between mind, body, physiology and behavior.
Association for Integrative Sciences ↗Clinical care, psychosomatic health, professional development and organizational performance may seem distant. My work connects them through the study of learning, adaptation and how different levels of human functioning influence each other.
Trauma, stress, experiential psychotherapy, somatic patterns, memory reprocessing and reconsolidation. An integrated perspective, not a single technique.
Integrative Functional Patterns and multi-level models linking psychological, physiological, behavioral and relational processes: from symptoms and regulation to sustainable change.
Workshops, training programs and applied methods for psychologists, psychotherapists, health professionals, educators and change practitioners.
Psychology and behavioral science for managing stress, improving communication, leading change and supporting well-being and sustainable performance at work.
Three principles shape my work in psychotherapy, professional education and organizational development.
Differentiate the processes involved, rather than reducing an experience to a single symptom or label.
Explore interactions between brain, body, emotion, behavior, environment and relationship.
Translate understanding into targeted questions, meaningful experiments and real-world tools.
Selected presentations and professional writing reflecting an ongoing exchange with international clinical and scientific communities.
